This is a pushbutton switch. While it is being pressed the light stays on. When the button is released the light goes out.  This is called "momentary" action. This is also the simplest useful electical circuit.
Momentary Pushbutton Switches are available at most hardware stores and all electrical supply houses.  See the sources page for possible vendors.
